ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

I remember when I decided to start playing guitar - I was 6 and I was in the car with my dad and I thought "Do I want to play drums, or play guitar?" Since my dad played guitar, I decided I would be like him. Dad was always listening to Chet Atkins and a variety of jazz and Mexican music (my mom is Mexican) that really influenced my songwriting early on. As a teenager I had a few rock and jazz bands, and then went into a long phase of playing solo, and spending more time writing songs than doing anything else musically. Eventually, my "day job" minimized my music time, but my guitar was always waiting patiently.
As age has brought me more wisdom, I now realize that music is not only my best friend, it is a part of my soul, and the most important part of life is nourishing the soul.
Answer Me is step one, stay tuned to hear more.

Reviews...
Teri has been a musician her whole life, but has come into her own as an artist in the past few years... ...She writes in styles from bluesy rock to acoustic folk and sings them with power and sensitivity. Her instrumental "chops" are displayed from the first few bars of intricate and "hooky" guitar licks on each song. Her album "Answer Me" covers the gamot of musical styles and lyrical emotions. There's something there to love for every fan of great music.
